Let's start with an introduction
Hello, my name is Dulce. You might not know, but my name means candy and sweet in Spanish. I was born in a small town in NM, nothing incredibly interesting. I grew up in several places, my family moved around a lot, from NM, to Borger TX., then later to Canyon TX., then off to Amarillo TX. The constant moving around made me feel like I did not belong in any of the places that I moved to. Perhaps that is what has led me to believe that I am an expert in knowing how it feels to be the outsider. For many years, the constant moving around made me feel just like that, an outsider. All of the children from the schools saw me as the "new girl" no one was ever brave enough to actually approach me, and introduce themselves. Funny how we would rather shy away from the new things in our lives, than to approach them ready to see what change could bring to us. Reading my blog, you will quickly come to realize that I am not your typical girl, I do not always see things the way the rest of the world sees things, blame it on my "outsider-ness" if you will, but I find life more interesting that way. I have not ever had a real hobby, I usually like spending my time alone, curled up reading a book, or at a gym running from my thoughts that seem trapped inside my head, or sometimes I manage to keep myself entertained with random activities, never a hobby really. There are a couple of issues/problems that I feel passionate about. The first is the never really mentioned problem of food allergies. I myself struggle with food allergies, they are now no where near as bad as they used to be, but if people would of been just a slight bit more considerate of others, or just a bit more careful of what they were mixing food with, I would have saved myself a handful of trips to the hospital, and many many awful frights. I feel that food allergies is a serious problem, that most people (unless they have food allergies) never really think about how severe people's allergies can truly be.

It's great that you feel good about not just going along with the crowd. That's really important for a writer!
